Fawn Spots: Spanish Glass VIDEO & SINGLE! ›

fawnspots:

Video for our forthcoming single ‘Spanish Glass’ on Southern Record’s Louder than War imprint.

It ‘stars’ some of our best friends, and some of their kids - Arlo and Billy are the main protagonists. If you see them out and about give them a high 5, though both amazing and better than most…

Title: We Sell Maternity Swimwear Artist: Mowbird 60 plays

armsagainstapathy:

Mowbird - We Sell Maternity Swimwear EP.

The last time I heard from Wrexham’s Mowbird was the brilliantly fuzzy Empress and Dear Daria single. Now, I know what you’re all thinking: Surely he is going to mention how the band’s new EP, We Sell Maternity Swimwear (Awesome title, right?) finds the self-dubbed “Queens of DIY” exploring a higher sound fidelity whilst retaining a lot of the noise that made the band so good in the first place. AND that I would then go on to notice how the band sound a bit more grungey than their previous pop offering, because that’s the only way things I could possibly tell you, right? Well, no. Balls to all that jargon. The only thing you need to know about Mowbird’s latest offering that although it’s a tad more downbeat and poignant, see Happy Birthday Dad, that the band are are as noisy and enjoyable as ever.

Check out the whole EP over at the band’s bandcamp page, as well as their previous singles and eps. :http://mowbird.bandcamp.com/
